Bringing three decades of experience in investments, commercial banking, and advisory, Chris Oven offers a well-rounded perspective on business valuation and strategic decision-making. His career has spanned both publicly traded and privately held companies, where he has worked closely with business owners to navigate challenges, assess opportunities, and drive long-term value creation.
“I look forward to leveraging my experience in advisory and valuation to support companies and business owners through every stage of their growth,” Chris says. His approach is rooted in collaboration, strategic insight, and relationship-building, ensuring that clients receive tailored, high-quality guidance. His ability to consider broad perspectives in decision-making allows him to develop innovative, strategic solutions that align with each client’s unique objectives.
Chris holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a BS from the University of Scranton. He is also an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Business Valuation and has shared his expertise as an adjunct professor at Loyola University’s Sellinger School of Business.

Chris has been involved in giving back to the community, including serving on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake, reflecting his commitment to mentorship and long-term relationship-building. He lives in Towson with his family and enjoys spending time outdoors—whether skiing, golfing, or simply appreciating nature.
