According to Andy Spears, successfully guiding a client through the twists and turns of M&A transactions takes more than skill and expertise. “Advisors need to put themselves in their client’s shoes and adopt the mentality that they have to earn that client’s trust every day,” he said.

As Director of Corporate Advisory for CCA, Spears knows well the challenges and opportunities companies can face. From assisting high-growth market leaders through sale processes to advising companies struggling with cash flow issues, he has helped a breadth of companies realize their strategic goals for more than a decade.

Over the years, Spears has served in both advisory and transaction support roles. At CCA, he dedicates his time and expertise to helping clients maximize shareholder value by architecting deals, readiness assessments, and preparation roadmaps that align with their vision, values, and financial goals.

“I am determined to provide thoughtful advice,” he said. “As a trusted advisor, our role is to understand our clients’ objectives and guide them on how to attain those goals with clear, actionable steps.”

Andy began his career as part of PwC’s Transaction Services team, specializing in bankruptcy and turnaround transactions. Most recently, he was with HighBank Advisors and Janney Montgomery Scott, advising on business services M&A transactions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Vanderbilt University.
