After two decades of experience leading middle-market company owners through the process of selling the businesses they’ve worked hard to build, Allen Stott finds it’s much more than a job. “Achieving the sale of an owner’s business is something I take very personally,” he says.
Allen leads investment banking engagements for CCA clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, leveraging his extensive experience helping business owners achieve the best outcomes when ready to sell. From handling the marketing process start to finish, to leading negotiations with potential buyers, to guiding the transaction to a successful close, he takes a strategic yet caring approach that gives clients complete confidence and trust. As one client shared after the close of his transaction, “Allen is a true professional who is totally devoted to helping his clients ease through the sale process with the best possible outcome.”
Allen brings a depth of industry-specific experience to the firm, with expertise creating and realizing value for companies in business services, health care services, distribution, manufacturing and others. He holds a B.S. in chemistry from Randoph-Macon College and a M.B.A. from The Mason School of Business of The College of William and Mary, as well as his Series 82 and 63 licenses.
On the personal side:
Given his love of the outdoors, it’s not surprising that Allen’s favorite hobbies involve outdoor sports and activities, like skiing, golf, and hiking. Allen enjoys going to Ravens games with his family. He’s also a big believer in giving back to the community and has served on the board of several local organizations, including the Maryland chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Howard Community College Education Foundation, and the Howard County YMCA.
